The Screens are custom produced, one of its kind milled to perfection Aluminum screens displaying latticework with prevailing classic Islamic patterns in combination with few arabesque arrangements.

 

The Aluminum element can elevate any architectural design with various functionality. Some screens are safety and decorative elements which enhance every pilgrim’s experience through focusing on Islamic design and architecture using the most durable and materials and design. The internal screens installed in the Haram Expansion Building enhance the Islamic impression and help pilgrims relish the experience.

 

The screens also act as barriers that protect the interior of the Mosque against birds and other creature that might penetrate the building. Some Screens also include doors and openings that are required for maintenance purposes. Other Aluminum screens are movable and specially designed and produced for the project to control the pilgrim's movement flow which is precisely calculated in the project through crowd management analysis.

 

Since the specifications of Aluminums screens require durability, persevering characteristics regards to weathering and dirt-resistance to facilitate longer cleaning interval, which affected the study and the selection of appropriate materials in the product development process. The screens are made up of a stainless-steel substructure, and a powder coated milled white aluminum screen, a very durable material elaborately manufactured and to be installed by means of study sub-constructions out of solid stainless steel and/or Aluminum. Aluminum is remarkable for its low density and for its ability to resist corrosion. Therefore, Aluminum was chosen as the main infill for the external Screens.

 

In order to Manufacture and pre-assemble these unique screens, special Milling machines were used. Furthermore, the manufacturing, milling and pre-assembly of these bodies requires a lot of time and effort in order to make sure that each small profile fits flawlessly in the overall structure. The internal and external screens have been selected of one layer of Teflon coated milled aluminum screens pearly white high glossy color to provide the extravagant image.
