The project covers the calligraphy in the expansion building in inside and outside the mosque.

 

To achieve a very high quality in the work, a team of the best calligrapher in all the Islamic countries has been involved in the project. All marble work is 100% hand work and was done by highly qualified artisans. Beside that all marble and gemstone with high quality were used in the execution.

 

The calligraphy panels in the interior are made out of lapis lazuli for the letters with gilded contour, the panels are in pure white marble. In the exterior panels the calligraphy are as relief without gemstone or gold.

 

The selection of the Quran verses and the calligraphy style are confirmed by the Riyasa (the chairmanship of the holy mosque), the style of the calligraphy is to be in legible script (thultu jail).
